Twofold Terms of Use

Accounts and sharing

Twofold is for people aged 16 and older who are eligible under local law, including any required guardian permission. It is a private journal for an existing couple, with no matchmaking, stranger discovery, or direct messaging. Use your own account and protect your login and invitation codes. You decide which memories to share with a connected partner. Shared content may be seen, saved, or exported by that person; changing or deleting a memory cannot erase copies they already made.

Content rules

You may add content you have the right to use. Do not post or share harassment, threats, sexual exploitation, content involving minors in a sexual context, non-consensual intimate content, unlawful violence, hate, impersonation, or another person's private information without permission. Do not use Twofold to stalk, coerce, or abuse another person. Follow applicable law and respect the consent of people shown in photos or videos.

Reports and blocks

A connected user can report a partner or a shared memory and can block that partner. A report sends the selected reason and, for a memory report, a limited text excerpt to Vailgrid for review. Blocking ends the connection, hides partner content in the app, and prevents a new invitation between those accounts while the block remains. Contact[email protected] if you need help with a block or an urgent safety concern. Do not email private media unless support asks for it through an appropriate channel.

Child safety standards

Twofold prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking, and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Report a partner or shared memory in the app, or contact [email protected]. Do not attach suspected illegal media to email. We act on confirmed reports by restricting access, removing prohibited material, and reporting to the relevant authorities where required by law.

Pro subscriptions

All features remain free. New in-app purchases are unavailable in the ads-only release. Existing ad-free coverage for the purchaser and their current paired partner remains honored. Read the subscription terms for existing coverage, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and pairing changes.

Our response

We may review reports, remove content, restrict sharing, suspend accounts, or refer unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities when reasonably necessary. A report does not guarantee immediate action. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than relying on an in-app report.

Your content and account

You retain rights to content you create. You allow Twofold to store, process, display, and transmit it as needed to provide the features you choose. The Privacy Policy explains data handling, and the account-deletion page explains what remains with a partner after deletion. You can stop using Twofold and request deletion through the app or support.
